About Us

MEET THE DESIGNER
Hi there! My name is Deborah, and I'm from Northern Ireland. I’m married with three beautiful (and unbelievably energetic) wee boys. I started this business to share my love for God, Mary and the Saints as well as supporting my growing family.
After an encounter with Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration, many years ago, my life was forever changed. I made the counter-cultural decision to follow Him, and I dedicated my life in the pursuit of knowing, loving and serving God.
My hope is that by using the talents God gave me, I can bring more people into a loving relationship with Him.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
The idea started in 2022 after a visit to the Adoration chapel. I saw the words ‘Adoro te Devote’ embroidered on the altar cloth, and immediately I knew that was the name for the business. What that business would be, I hadn’t a clue! After a lot of prayer and research, I eventually settled on a Catholic art design business. The problem was that I knew nothing about starting a business or about creating digital art.
I’d love to say that I’m a qualified graphic designer with a great zeal for business. Instead, I’m just an ordinary Catholic mother with a love of the Faith and a passion for art. It reminds me of the quote, “God does not call the equipped, He equips the called.” That is exactly what happened. After months (and months) of prayer, research, dedication and learning new skills, here we are!
Adoro te Devote Designs was officially launched in June 2023 on the Feast of the Sacred Heart.

WHY CHOOSE A LATIN NAME?
The name comes from a Eucharistic hymn attributed to St. Thomas Aquinas meaning, "I adore thee devoutly". The hymn is, essentially, a prayer of love and Adoration for the Blessed Eucharist. Our name is a reflection of our mission - to love Jesus, to serve Him and spread His Word.
The Latin language is an important part of the Catholic Church and in this business too. It is the universal language of the Church that saints have used to pray for centuries, and it is one of the three sacred languages referred to in scripture. It is rich in beauty, history and has a certain transcendence that the vernacular doesn't always quite capture.
